my parents threw me a little shindig with the family and some close friends this past weekend. though i was exhausted by the end, it was so refreshing to be reminded of the ways each person in my life has influenced me. i was overwhelmed with gratitude and cannot remember a time i felt so loved. everyone was so generous with their kind words and thoughtful gifts. i am still in awe that people would care so much about me. it is truly God’s kingdom at work. plus, i won’t be paying for anything at starbucks for a good year. apparently everyone thinks i’m a junkie, which is not really true, but i’ll definitely enjoy it when it’s free! thanks for all the love! this is SUCH an exciting time in my life!!!!!
